No, no, no, no, no! Those are the just the last few pencils I used! People are always confused when I leave pencils in the photo - thinking those are the ONLY ones used. There were probably at least four different grays alone, then black, white and a couple variations of blue for the eyes.
Really amazing job, especially on the hair. Blue is really a nice touch.
Btw, have any of your watchers told you they haven't been receiving your art in their inbox? There is something really strange going on. I've noticed couple of times I didn't get your newest pieces in my inbox (I found them by accident). The first time when I was browsing my "manage friends" list, everything related to you was unchecked which was weird. I marked all the boxes again and thought that was it, BUT recently I was on "manage friends" list again and everything is unchecked again! I saved the changes both times, but the boxes related to you still remain unmarked! It's like someone is preventing me to watch you on purpose
wow wow wow! This looks so realistic, i thought it was a photograph! The hair is so great; the detail and range of tones gives it that 3-D effect Your shading is smooth and believable, and your tonal range brings it to life... so amazing!
Wow, the hair is incredible... And I love the touch of color. On a side note, tips from someone as talented as you would be much appreciated. I'm working on a ~40+ hour project, and I really want to add some color to it, but I'm nervous... If you don't mind me asking, did you put the color down first in this portrait and then add the shading with your graphite pencil?
